Rising Star Theatrical Productions ( RSTP) is the master- mind of Kendra Johnson- Chitman. Who is the CEO and Founder of this Organization. She is a native of the beautiful city of Shreveport, Louisiana. She is also, the Artistic Director of this multi-cultural emerging community theatre. In addition, Kendra is also a very talented writer, director and producer. On August 16, 2008 she launched her first stage play “The Road to Destruction.” Kendra has many other stage plays that she has traveled and performed throughout the Ark-La-Tex with productions. Afterwards, she was later inspired to convert her profit organization into non- profit.

On March, 2011 Ms. Chitman’s vision of a multi-cultural community theatre became a reality, when they gained their approval of 501c(3) status form the IRS. RSTP is a new community theatre company of Northwest Louisiana. This is a faith based organization which offers many events and functions that are cost efficient and family oriented. Kendra is passionately driven to help others a make a difference. Her aim is to always point people to Jesus Christ who is her source.
